Hey, I'm in Language Arts right now. We're in the computer lab doing a project on the Holocaust era. Mine's on the children during the Holocaust. I like, finished it in like, the first 15-30 minutes we were in here. Ughhh....I still have like, 45 minutes in here. I think I might dieeeeeeeee. Ugh....I need to sneeze really badly. *achoo* Ok. I did. Whew...Lol.Ughhhhh.... Hey, go to www.shatteredlives-montgomerycounty.com and look at the Conroe High School one! It's crazy sad. Shattered Lives is a program that all of the high schools in the Montgomery County area did to show the effects of drunk driving. Because of Prom coming up and graduation and everything? Because some people go out and get drunk on Prom night and after they graduate. And it shows what could happen. Haha, Chaz just sneezed...I thought it was kinda funny. Lol. Well, here is my paper, read it and tell me if it's worth an "A" or not! Lol!
Children during the Holocaust. During the holocaust era, many different racial groups were attacked by the German Nazis. But what most people don't know is that children, mainly Jewish, were one of the main sources of attack. Children were especially vulnerable victims of the Nazis. It is estimated that over one million children were murdered under Nazi rule in Germany and occupied Europe. In the ghettos, many died from lack of food, clothing, and shelter. The Nazis considered many ghetto children unproductive to the German cause. They were generally not used for forced work, which increased their chances for early replacement to concentration camps and extermination camps. Jewish children were among the first victims when the Germans and their partners sought to destroy a Jewish community by shooting the inhabitants of the ghettos or deporting them to an extermination camp. Following selection at Auschwitz and other camps, the majority of children were sent straight to the gas chambers. A number of children in the camps, especially twins, were used in Nazi medical experiments. Children also were shot by SS and police forces in Poland and the Soviet Union. Jewish council chairmen were forced to make the painful decision whether to fill expected amounts of children for deportation. One director of an orphanage in the Warsaw ghetto, refused to abandon the children chosen for deportation. So he accompanied them on the transport to Treblinka, another concentration camp. In spite of overwhelming torture by the hands of the Nazis, many children discovered ways to survive. Many children were involved in smuggling food into the ghettos. A number of children in youth movements were active in resistance; many participated in escapes to partisan family camps. Some non-Jews provided hiding places for Jewish children and sometimes, as in the case of Anne Frank, for other family members as well. Children's Transport was the informal name of a rescue effort which brought thousands of refugee Jewish children to Great Britain from Nazi Germany and German-occupied territories between 1938 and 1940. In France, almost the entire Nazi Protestant population hid Jewish children. In the aftermath of the Holocaust, refugees searched throughout Europe for missing children. Thousands of orphaned children were in displaced persons camps. Many fled to eastern Europe as part of the mass group that fled to the Allied zones of occupation.. Through Youth Immigration, thousands migrated to the Yishuv (A Jewish settlement in Palestine), and then to the state of Israel after it was established in 1948.

Yeap. That's it.
